Ho, Ho, Oy Vey!! Now that Hanukkah is done, we have switched into Christmas gear. The kids thoroughly enjoyed Hanukkah. I have to admit, we sort of cheated. We did the 8th night of Hanukkah last night, 1 night after the holiday was officially done. We were unable to light the candles and do presents on the actual 8th night, so we told the kids we would light the menorah for the 8th
TIME last night. It was a little sacrilegious as we decorated the Christmas tree hours earlier..... but we are a mixed family, so it works for us. I don't want to play up Christmas without giving Hanukkah it's due diligence, and this year has been pretty successful so far. Anyway....bring on Christmas! I have many little elves to help me with all my chores getting ready for the next round of holiday hoopla. We hung our lights, finally got the tree up, and the stockings have been hung by the new all purpose utility bench with care. Now the mad frenzy really starts to get ready for Santa! Only 5 more days! Oh, and please note our traditional Star of David atop the tree. And trust me, we have a beautiful menorah ornament Randi gave Andy a few years back.

I heard from Andy that the kids had Laktes, so you're doing good at it. Love the tree.
