We are fortunate to have so many great family members and friends who we spend such fun times with. We spent this 4th of July weekend with our good friends Jon & Chantal Marselis and their 1.5 year old son Vaughn. We went to Palm Desert and had a great pool party weekend at their family timeshare. We went last year and the kids loved the water slide at one of the numerous pools. Problem was they didn't know how to swim, so while they had a great time, it was a little hard to manage the kids in the pool. This year, we went with loads of swim lessons under our belt and they really had a blast! David and Rose were FISH.....jumping in the pool and swimming, swimming, swimming. They LOVED the water slide. We still went down with them, but at least they could swim after they were in the water. The weekend was spent swimming, good food and drinks, enjoying the company of Jon's Grandma and Grandpa who own the timeshare (and are some of the best people you will ever meet), watching fireworks, and more swimming. For some reason I have no pictures of David, and none at the pool as I was always in the water. Sunday, July 5th, was Andy and my 7th wedding anniversary. (It's fun to remember spending the 4th of July with friends and family at my Dad's house for our rehearsal shin dig.) A good weekend was had by all... thanks Jon and Chantal! We didn't want to leave!
