Uninspired.......... and the End of an Era

Sorry my posts have been few and far between lately. I have been quite uninterested in blogging, or even getting on the computer at all. We've had a lot going on with school being out. Swim lessons, play dates (I really don't like that term....whatever happened to just playing?), birthday parties, visiting with family, trips to Legoland, a fun destination wedding, getting ready for 2 more fun trips....more on them as they get here..... stressing over David's birthday which is next week.... and I haven't planned anything for him. Then there is the fact that more often than not I have many more children in the house than the ones that once lived in my uterus. The other day I counted 10 kids. That didn't even include my niece and nephew who would usually be included in a crazy number of kids milling around. Lately I've been feeling like a waitress more than anything else. (How do other stay home parents ever get anything done? It would be so much easier to get the kids out of the house for the day and into someone else's care....) Anyway.... I just haven't been in the mood to post anything, but today I will try to get in some posts. Enough woe-is-me.

Oh.... and there has been an end of an era here in my SUPERGREAT home. I finally got rid of the bottle drying rack which has been a fixture on my counter for 6 years and 3 months. While I was in Toronto, Joey FINALLY stopped drinking milk out of a bottle. Could it have been my lame-ass who fed into the determination of the most stubborn child on the planet's desire to prolong his babyhood? Perhaps that's why I can't potty train him either.....perhaps I need to take another trip without kids....just a thought. On another note, my youngest son has stopped drinking milk.
