Joey is my shadow. I have more time with him than Rose or David. They both always had a younger sibling vying for attention. Now that R & D are both in school 5 days a week, Joey and I spend more time than ever. He is a sweet boy. He has a temper and gets frustrated easily at times. He has beautiful dimples when he smiles big enough, and a bit of a cleft on his chin if his face is just right. He hates to wear pants, long sleeves or a jacket, just like his Dad. Seems like he always has food on his face. He gets along so well with Rose and David… until he gets mad, then watch out! It’s can be all out war with David on a daily basis, then they are back to being best friends. It makes me wonder what the teenage years will be like. Right now I’m bigger than them and can separate them…what happens when I can’t? Every man for himself, I guess!

Rosie Girl
Rose has been neglected lately on the blog. She has been so busy of late that she hasn’t been in too many pictures. Rest assured she is still alive and well. Rose is an awesome big sister. She enjoys self portraits and snaps her own picture whenever she gets the chance. She insists her hair is brown and can’t be convinced otherwise. Sure do love this funny girl!

Tailgating….
The boys picked up some hot chicks and decided to have a tailgate party. Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I hope your day was as nice as ours.

With Surgery
It’s funny to listen to David and Joey talk. Recently lots of games and things they are talking about include the phrase “with surgery.” The other day I noticed artwork hanging above David’s bed. This is a portrait of Mario, his favorite character from his Wii games, and current muse in his artwork. If you can’t make it out, it says: “Mario with Surgery.” Note the blood red eyes… well, blood purple. (Like a lovely purple balloon.)
