Aaaaargh…. He’s BACK!

So the glasses went back on and as soon as David was out of sight at school, off they came.  David is supposed to wear his glasses again after a recent check  up with the eye doc.  Every day after school when I pick the kids up I have to make Dave go back into his class room to retrieve his glasses.  Even his teacher has been on him about keeping them on….which he won’t.  He has now successfully lost them.  SO…. the other day we went back to this….. and it has gone over like a lead balloon.  New glasses have been ordered, which he picked out and swears he will keep on.  We’ll see.  And we really should take the $275 out if his piggy bank.

I think the brown of the patch really brings out the brown in his teeth.  That reminds me, they are all due for a dental appointment….and a hair appointment to fix his jacked up hair!

1 = 9

Well, she did it.  I keep asking them all not to, but my kids insist on getting older.  Rose turned 9 on Tuesday.  9!  She had a few friends over for a Glam Fashion party along with a fashion show and wardrobe changes and was in all her fashionista glory.  Safe to say I LOVE that girl!!

This and That

David:  “Rosie, a Cat is more likely to play pool than a Fox.”  (oddly that does seem to make sense to me)

Joey:  “I like the Grateful Dead.  I like Fire on the Mountain.”

David:  “I don’t really like them.  It’s just not my thing.  That’s all I listen to….that or E Street Radio.  The Boss.”

David:  “We are a family of losers!”  (this after asking for something….probably a toy, and to which I responded that it was lost)

Joey:  “Careful Mommy, you might fall and break something.”

Baseball & Softball

It’s that time of year again….baseball and softball just started up.  Rose has decide to try pitching this year.  She had her first game yesterday and pitched the first 2 innings.  She did GREAT!  She had some legitimate strikes, struck a girl out, and her team, the Storm won 4-2.  Way to go Rosie!

Joey, much to my surprise, decided to play t-ball again this year.  This from the boy who last year yelled to me from 2nd base during a game…. “Mommy, I HATE t-ball!”  I was so proud!  He is on the Portland, Maine Sea Dogs.  This year the league went with minor league teams for the younger divisions.  Tres adorable!

PLAY BALL!
